anyone have these fender flares?

I saw on YouTube a guy that had similar flares. He got some of the black door edge guard stuff and ran it along the edge of the flare to keep it from damaging the paint.

I just ordered these for my truck. Anyone have em? I figured for a $100, why not try em. Apparently they do not come with the weather stripping that goes inside the flare. how important are those weather strippings?

It looks like they have double sided 3m tape like the oem ones. That should be the only weatherstripping you need.

Yeah, I don't want that thing rubbing the paint off. 3m double sided tape is what I'm going to put on.

I got the flares in. I gotta admit, I am pretty impressed with the quality. I thought it was going to be some cheap plastic. It's actually decent. Install was a breeze. I tried to put 3m double sided tape nut couldny. The fit was real right to a t. Fit was actually perfect. Here are before and after. For 100 bucks, can't beat it. @zeddy they look really good. I almost pulled the trigger on these a few times but was concerned about the fit. Looks like they are totally worth the money.

I purchased a set installed them and took them back off, the tape they use is not very good.
