I bought this light kit off of ebay. What would be the safest way to wire them up? I saw threads where some members wired them straight to the 7 pin reverse light pin and some ran a wire all the way to the battery. 2014 Ram 2500 4x4.

I only want them for reverse lights. I have a topper on my truck and it is not easy to see behind the truck at night. Backup camera is next!

Personally, I'd go straight to battery with a manual switch. Especially if you tow trailers and have a habit of hooking up a trailer in the dark - they'd make good work lights for setting the connection to the trailer - hooked directly to the 7-pin, you would need to stay in Reverse.

And might work good at discouraging tailgaters at night. :evillol:
