I'm looking at a bakflip g2 cover and was wondering how a bed extended fits under the low tonneau covers? I see ram has a factory bed extender and will probably end up with that as I like the look of it

Your bed covers will sit on top/flush with the bed rails, the bed extender is only about 18" or so on height and your bed rails are probably be closer to 30", so you won't have any issue.

You better go measure again.......mine are ~18" to 19" depending on where you measure

You're right, just pulled 20" on mine. Guess that's what I get for guestimating, regardless, there should be an issue with running it with a bed cover.

Well, it depends on the bed cover....mine dips down far enough it may interfere.

I also think ya meant should NOT be an issue.......:)

I was gonna get the toolbox below, and I knew I was gonna have to make some brackets to drop it another 1" or so for clearance.

Yea the bakflip g2 is a somewhat low cover. Not flush but not on top. That's why I was worried. I'll have to measure after I get the tonneau cover how much clearance. Can someone measure their bed extender for me so I know exact height?

I love it. And having the bed extender also is a big help since I got the crew cab and the bed is only 5.7

I can imagine. it'll be nice for tool bags when it's in and the quad when I've got it open
