I am planning on a 2.5" front and 1.5" rear on my 2014 ram 1500.

What would be the best offset to run some 35x12.5x20

My options are
1mm
-12mm
-19mm

I don't want to rub but still want an inch or two outside the fender to give it that aggressive look. Def don't want the tires tucked in.

Going with AMP Terrain Gripper for tires
Thanks

1mm. Give you about 1.5"-2" outside the fender.

How much of a difference would a 10" wheel make it? More outside the fender?

Depends on the offset.

A +1 mm offset will basically be so close to having the hub in the middle that the extra 1 inch would effectively be split right down the middle, 1/2" on the inside, 1/2" on the outside.

The difference in offset on those would be about 1/2" with the -12 sticking out the widest.

Just to give you an idea, here is my 2500 with a 2" level kit, 35x12.50R18 BFG KO2 tires and +18mm offset 18x9 wheels:

I ended up adding flares to cover most of the rock and mud throwing portion of the tire:

A 9" wheel with a +1 offset will be about .67" further outside than mine.

Take a look at the pic below as it illustrates negative and positive offset pretty nicely.

Here what it would pretty much look like with 35x12.50R20 tires. Mine is a 0+mm.

Nice! Thanks for the photo examples! I love the wide stance so still think I will try the 1mm on a 10" rim or -12 if I go 9"!!

Appreciate it

Check out the Guide to Leveling & Wheel and Tire Sizing linked in my signature. It covers all this information.

With 35x12.5's a 20x9 +1 offset would put you 1.5" past the fender, 20x9 -12 offset would be 2.0" past the fender. If you get into 20x10's you'd need to go with a 20x10 -12 or -24 offset which would be around 2.5" or 3.0" past the fender respectively. Another thing to keep in mind is that wider stances without a lot of lift often require trimming.

When you're looking at pictures you'll need to be looking at 1500's only. A 2500 or 3500 has a completely different suspension and a wider track so the wheel and tire specs/information that work on them don't always apply to a 1500.
