I have a stock 2013 Ram 1500 Bighorn Crew Cab 4X4 w/o leveling kit. Can I put 305/55/20 BFG AT KO2's on the stock 20 inch rims without rubbing?

I was reading through the messages on this and I am interested as well, I have a 2012 Ram will have a 6 inch lift on it and was told to run at the most 35 inch tires so that I don't have to change out the rear gears. Can I run 35x12.50r20's on the stock rims without spacers?

I didn't read everyone's replies... But just throwing this out there..

275/65r20 is probably the best looking size with stock height. It can be questionable wether or not it looks "stuffed" to some (me included).... But it does fit and there will be zero rubbing.

295/65/20 will require spacers and very limited options in brands, also very expensive.

What about 285/65/20? :naughty:

I'm in love with my terra grappler g2's. It looks a little stuffed in the front, but I intend on doing a level soon.

I have a 2014 Ram 1500 with 20" factory rims. With my dealers ok, I went to same size Tire but in an LT 10 ply, instead of the P 4 ply. Which requires a leveling kit. Even though it was done by the dealer, I have developed a transfer case issue, which Ram is blaming the tire size. The transmission doesn't down shift in 4-high, and 4-high only. As I have learned the hard way, you CAN'T change from the P rated 4 ply original size tires. According to Ram, that size is the only size within their "programmable limits" for this truck. I live in the country and can't even drive down the pea-gravel driveway without getting a flat with a 4 ply tire.
Was also informed by Ram, with the new electronic controls, if you put a tire, different from the original or out of their "programmable limits", you WILL have drive train issues, and Ram will Not stand by the warranty. I have brought up the issue of payload and towing advertised is beyond the tires capabilities, to no avail...

You should start a thread on this in the performance section.

AustinB,

Regarding your comment about the 275/65r20 fitting with no rubbing. Does this include the stock 20" rims, no lift, no level, on a 2 wheel drive?

Thanks,
Josh

Yes

Well 2wd... I dont know. Is there a difference?

I dunno if there is a difference. Just tossed it out there in case there was a difference. Thanks Man.

Darios, I like how the tires fill up the fender well. Looks good, especially with the MT tires.

Ok lets see some pictures of rims and tire combos on stock suspension.

I myself was thinking of getting some Mayhem rims and new rubber but not sure what offset to get.
Have no plans to do a lift.

Well, picked up a set of used Michelin LTX AT2 with about 90% tread left this weekend. Moved up to the 275/65R20. They've been riding great, no rubbing at all. Ride seems a lot smoother. And the wheel wells look nice and stuffed.
