Now I really want a BackFlip. Do the panels remove easily? Are there tracks on the bed rails? I don't quite understand how it all 'installs'.

I'd really like to get one, but I won't get something that won't let me haul the ATV.

the panels aren't removable separately. There is a track that it sits on, on the bed rails. It sits on that, is bolted in at the front, and each panel has a sliding clip that holds it to the rail (operated by a wire under the panel).

It folds up against the cab, you will lose about 6-8 inches at the front.

It should not prevent you from hauling a quad

I want to be able to have the quad in the bed with the tailgate shut/locked. I can't afford 6-7" at the front. However, if it all sits up, not down in the bed, it might work. Crap.

Who wants to drive to New Mexico so I can try it on theirs? Haha!

Ok just so you know i had 2 ktm 450's in it today with n/p and also it bolts on the front with 2 hand screw type bolts so all you would need to do is unscrew them and whole rhing would lift off.As far as the rails its attached with clips.

BakFlip G2 , HD Installation Guide

Check this out its a good vid on it
