Old post, I know, but anyone have any issues with condensation with the mopar black quads? My OEM clear quads leaked bad, had inch of water in both on a truck with 29k miles, so I bought $120 black with silver side reflector generic quads and they get condensation everywhere except low beam area. Just want black lights that don't get moisture inside.

Yeah that seems to be an issue with the generic ones. Just get some black silicone adhesive and seal all the edges. Should do the trick

Thanks, I prefer the silver reflectors but at this point, any blacked out headlights will do. Living in WA state, rain all the time, headlights look like crap. OEM ones looked like a fish bowl, even if I buy OEM I am going to seal around light and use the best gaskets and put a line of butyl tape around the bulb covers. I bought some 65 watt h9 halogen krypton bulbs(doing the mod) , to give more light and heat up inside a little more. The silver reflector on the aftermarket lights with blacked out inside look excellent, so I may try sealing, if fails will do OEM black lights(seen them $260 a pair new) or projector conversion.

I love the black quads. Any thing for the rear tail lights to match. The price is killer on mopar America
