I've received mopar color matched front and rear emblems, but Im waiting to install to decide if I want to debage or color match the side emblems (hemi and ram 1500)

Debaged looks good, but looks too "sporty" to me. If my truck was lowered I would do it. But I'm in the process of lifting, and think leaving the badges would help make the truck not so "plain".

I wanted to see if anyone with a black truck has color matched their side emblems to match.

no offense to the people that use plastidip, but it looks very cheap to me. I would have mine color matched like the other emblems, just don't wanna spend the money to get them painted until I see an example.

I think he meant to dip them to see if u liked them black. U can pull it off and coat them however u would like. It supposedly peels off easily. I agree with you about the badges being on the truck. I think debadged looks really good on 2wd and emblems look good on 4x4s. I also like the idea of the black on black look u are talking about.

oh ok, I wouldn't mind giving it a shot, but I still would have to remove them, correct? then I'd have to put them back on, and if I didn't like it...back off. seems like a hassle

paint them off if you have them off and then get some 3M and a ruler and stick them on

what do yall think about ordering the '13 ram emblems for the side, and painting black?

(keep in mind I have a rcsb, so those letters take up the whole side of my truck) haha

I prefer the totally de-badged clean look, removed all my badges off my Black Ram

then replaced the plastic ram heads with Billet Badges, powder coated flat black over black gloss

I took mine off and actually I am toying with the idea of sticking the challanger hemi badge on the side.

I would just debadge. If you insist on keeping something, then leave the hemi badge and get rid of the ram 1500

thats what im thinking of doing.
if i had all black wheels id debaged everything, but having black wheels with chrome accents i think leaving a little bit of chrome will help the 2 color scheme I have.

Those damn lowered trucks look SICK all blacked out, but I think with my setup it wont look as good

I'd just get rid of it totally if I were if you were gonna leave any the tho leave the hemi. Or I've seen people relocate the hemi. I like the clean look tho. I'm more of a sleeper. I did the same as above my front rams and back are blacked as well but do what you like. If you like that two tone chrome look go for it. You gotta drive it brotha and enjoy it! You could always Debadge and get different chrome badges look around there's a lot of cool ones

Nice I'm not a fan of lifted single cabs but yours actually looks good

As far as the badges I like both the painted to me was like a 3D ghost lettering it looks better in person but also like the sleek debadged look but in the end its all up to you and the look your after

thanks bro, its not lifted too much, just 4" front and 1.5" back. next step is flares and tires.
which lies another problem, if i added the oem flares i think it might look better debaged, that way the sides dont look too plain. idk, just thinking out loud lol

next step...debage "ram 1500" and go from there, can always paint them and return them if i wanted
