Got this on over the weekend, pardon the dirt. The install was a little tricky due to my body lift but overall it wasn't too bad. I think it would've been a piece of cake otherwise. It weighed in at 64lbs compared to 34 lbs for my stock bumper. It appears to be very solid and well built and the fit is perfect. Overall I'm really happy with it although I do have a couple very minor complaints...

1.) The parking sensor holes could've been designed a little better. They aren't set up to reuse the original plastic inserts/grommets. They have thick steel inserts welded on that you are supposed to put the sensors in and then tighten down with a screw on each side. First of all, the sensors won't fit without grinding off the tabs on the sides. Second, the screws they provide are too big for the holes in the metal inserts and I didn't really feel comfortable tightening a screw into the side of my plastic sensors anyway. I ended up just grinding the tabs down a little bit so I could shove them in tight, they wouldn't budge so hopefully that will do the trick. Also, the sensors are not in the same location so it took a little work to get the wires to reach them and there is no easy way to route them. I ended up not having to do any cutting/resplicing, but it was close. I'm not sure they could've put the sensors anywhere else though so this is more of an inconvenience than a complaint.

2.) For some reason the trailer wiring connectors on the left side of the license plate have to be mounted upside down, again I was barely able to get the wiring to reach. I don't see any reason for having the connectors upside down so I'm not sure why they did that.

3.) They did not make provisions for the two mounting bolts behind the license plate. I thought about drilling the holes myself but they wouldn't be flush (like the OEM bumper) so I was afraid the license plate wouldn't fit with bolts behind it. The bottom of the plate slides down into a slot in the bumper.... which brings me to complaint 3b.) I can't reuse my badass Colts license plate frame! I had to donate it to the wife's van.

4.) The license plate light they give you is the same $3 garbage you can find in Autozone. Not only is it ugly chrome, but it will eventually rust and probably spread like a cancer to the bumper. I ordered this black plastic LED light off of ebay for $5 to replace it, hopefully I can make it fit.

Have you noticed any surface rust now that you've had it installed for a while?

That license plate light looks to be the same that came with the Ranch Hand I've got. I upgraded the ugly halogens to these LED's and they fit and look great!
