I've searched around some and I didn't really seem to find much. My question is what is everyone using for brake pads and rotors on the Rams? Specifically the 1500 4x4's and that reduces brake dust? I bought my 11 ram used with 35k and now have about 45k but I noticed the other day when I rotated the tires the pads were low. Not dangerous but it's something I need to start thinking about. Any info or suggestions regarding the brakes is appreciated. Thanks in advance

I use EBC slotted and dimpled sport rotors with yellow pads front and back. Also upgrade your front brake lines to crown SS with Kevlar...pedal will feel much stiffer. Lastly upgrade your brake fluid to a better quality. I used Stop tech str600 dot 4 with much higher boiling point...truck stops on a dime.

visited Crowns website, only shows 2500 brake lines , up to 2011 model year trucks. noting for newer trucks nor for 1500's.

Is there really a major difference, just from teh brake lines themselves?

I use O'Reilly house brand - Lifetime warranty, keep the receipt and box and you get them for free the next time.

I was scouring the internet and found a complete set of pads and 4 cross drilled rotors for under $200. I don't know the brand and I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for so I'm a little leary about ordering them. My intention was to flush the brake fluid anyway but I nevery even thought about the brake hoses

Stay away from these, I've seen to many crack to trust them. I think they should stay with cars. I feel our trucks are so heavy and put a lot of stress on them that they can't handle.

Ebc is the way to go...they are only slotted and dimpled not drilled...good advice the drilled will heat and crack over time. I am very happy with my setup...got everything priced matched from autoanything for the lowest price I could find. They also stand behind everything they sell.

The brake lines really help...there is no flex in these crown lines...read up on them they are many layers of high quality materials. I also got the color matched to what I wanted as well as length.
