Hello 7" lights bars! Had some issues w led kit i had put in and my lenses had some hairline cracks plus I didn't want to spend the $ on the brackets or conversion kit. i read on here somebody used factory brackets to mount 7" light bars. So i did the same.

Bro honestly i wish i had taken some pics while doing and installing it but my time was limited [as usual]. It was pretty simple. I got 1"x36" aluminum flat bar from home depot that i used to make the brackets that i mounted the same spot the oem lense mpints in the bracket. Some bolts washers and locknuts too. Wired them directly into oem plug.

C-shaped w/ each part 1.25" was the winner i actually used. That pic is of first attempt.

I want to take the passenger side out and squeeze the bracket closed a little. Bending the aluminum was a little tricky. Maybe a pre-made bracket that size exists but i had to wing it at home depot.

That sucks. I been messing w mine since i got the truck since its so easy with the sport bumper. Had them vinyled in yellow. Then black. Then led bulbs but driver side kept flickering intermittently. Weird cuz i have same kit in my low beams and theyre great plus it was only driver side that flickered. Weird.

Looks great!

Maybe it’s the camera angle, but is the passenger side light in more than the driver side?

My gate doesn't show the reach too good but they're supposedly flood beam style.
