Carven 5" Chrome tips

I tried to avoid buying the 5"tips but thank to you I guess it's time to place my order [emoji38]

Still, the robot is better than the usual dirty rag, or held up thumb/finger/hand.

I block my plate in images to prevent vehicle cloning - if you've ever had this happen to you (I have, in the UK) then it can be a huge mess depending on where/when and what the clone was used for.
As for driving about every day and parking it - sure people will see it - but pics on the net are there for literally millions of people to see and do whatever they want - in my head all I am doing is lowering the chance of that happening again.

They're just back ordered...you should be able to still order it (with the discount if it still works) and they'll ship them out when they're available.

When I ordered my Progressive it was back ordered...took an extra 1.5 weeks or so but I they sent it out.

It all came down to funds. Carven had a sale on them for 179.00 shipped with clamps. Compared to Moe's which are 205.00. I'm sure they both are great products but my theory is why pay 205 when I can get them for 179.

Are there any sound differences between the 2 due to Moe's being 12" long?

When you installed the Carven tips, are they somewhat adjustable son they can be centered in the bumper cut outs? When I installed my progressive series muffler i noticed my factory tips are not centered perfectly. Tried adjusting the tail pipes to make them center but it didn't help.

Yup just wiggle it into the portion you want before tightening them on!

I dont think Moe's bolt on are any longer then Carven Tips...

They might be made differently but im pretty sure they are very close to the same length. Both bold up directly and the Carven ones I have hang passed the bumper an inch or so. Just enough so that their Carven label shows.

I ordered 5" black tips from eBay for $80. I then shot them with a couple of extra black coats of high heat paint. I had them welded on however. I love the look of the 5" tips for sure. These trucks should come with them IMO.

What is the inlet size on your ebay tips?

I believe the inlet on these was 4". As you can somewhat see on the pics... the installed fabbed up something to build up to the 4". The pipe gets a little bigger so it fits.
