Just installed these but took awhile to get the window to go up on these. They kept bouncing back when they hit the rain guard.

Anyone else have this issue? And how did you fix it.

I finally got them to shut but was worried I will have to do it every single time?

Mine took a little while but work great. Best thing is to leave the window up for a day or two then it will help get the guard to settle into place.

They will stay up, just need to break in. Leave windows up for a spell....always worked for me.

I had the same problem. I just got the windows to go all the way up and then left them closed for a few days. That's all it took to sort it out.

Mine creased the weather striping badly . Took a while to get it to close right so it could stay closed for a few days . I then opened it and it folded over the weather stripping so when closing again so after a week I removed them . Free to any one who wants to pick them up on south Jersey .

I removed mine (egr) because the driver window was freezing.

make sure they are in right. If the window is going back down there is a good chance you dont have them in right.

Mines AVS. Seem ok now. Mite have had to just leave the window up for a day.

I went w AVS over weather tech because I didnt want it to run along the side near the mirrors on the front.

I'm running the AVS ones and have been for a year and no problems. I ran into that issue when I first installed them but all I had to do was adjust them a bit. roll the window up and leave it over night and haven't had a single problem with them since.

What’s the difference between the weather tech and avs?
