Custom Light Bar Grille

I've yet to find anyone that has used a knock off eBay grille so I'm making a thread to see. I want to buy a mesh grille similar to the M1, but I like the ones that include a light bar in it. I know that both rigid and t-rex make these but I am not going to spend $1500 on a grille. I found this eBay grille and the only thing I'm afraid of is whether or not it is going to match up perfect. You guys think I should go ahead and try it?

I think you should try it, all these mesh grills from those companies do the same thing for installation. You have to remove your old one, cut out the old grill, and you mount the new mesh grill around the grill frame.

I will be ordering one up, but I am trying to find one with a single bar instead of the one bar and 2 spot lights

It's not the installation that I'm worried about. I'm just not sure if it will match up to my grille perfectly. I don't want any gaps or unevenness. I think I'll still go ahead and order it. It's only $300 and I guess I could always return it.

Made a spur of the moment purchase last night and ordered one of these. I think it'll go good with the Laramie trim and black/chrome look I have going. Also like it includes the shell so I don't have to cut the factory one for an insert.

This company is also selling a raptor style grille for the 2500s that already has the amber LEDs placed. I didn't see one for the 1500s though.

Ive had an EAutoGrilles grille on my 06 Ram 1500 and the fitment was perfect and the quality was just as expected, if not better. I was extremely happy with the purchase and eventually I plan on ordering one for my 2012 Ram.

09-12 Dodge Ram 1500 Rivet Black SS Wire Mesh Packaged Grille w/Shell&LED Lights | eBay

This is the one I got in December. I am very happy with the quality and fit. The shell was painted black. I had it painted, so I don't know the quality of the paint. The lights don't add much over the HIDs when they're on high, but those are amazingly bright.

It's been a few months since I took these. I'm pretty sure the first is with high beams and the second is with the grille lights. I don't remember if I had the highs on with them or not. The grille mounted the same as the factory if that's what you're asking.

Just got my pro Z

no lights , just mesh insert

E-Auto, Paramount & pro Z all are made by the same company

Have not installed mine yet, but opened it up last night, seem to be of high quality and the mount brackets are already on the insert, not like the Smitty built insert
