I got an email from Amazon with recommendations for truck accessories. One of them was U-POL raptor bed liner kit. It looks like decent stuff, comes with the liner mix and gun to spray it. Its got high reviews on amazon and is only 124 shipped right now. Anyone try this before? thinking I may give it a shot.

I'm a pretty handy guy and can do a lot of things for myself. That being said, I would pay the extra $300-$350 to have it installed "properly". Only because the work still required for proper prep and install as well as the warranties avail. If not prepped correctly you could more problems than the money saved. Just my opinion but hope it works well and last a long time. Post pics or do a write up on the install.

imma take one for the team lol. Reading all the reviews seems like the hardest part is the prep. So I'll take my time there making sure the surface is prepped and masked properly. I'll post pictures of my progress and final results.

I can tell you from Experience Mosta-Liner is very good. It is activated with a mix that makes it cures when you roll it on. Makes a better bond then other DYI that aren't activated. I think yours is activated as well, which is good. The texture comes from the roller, not rubber chunks. Makes a much better bed liner, wont flake. I say LineX is a ten, Monsta is very good quality at about an 8 in comparison to LineX, Their comparisons to other DYI here.

I've done a few of them easy as can be. I do all my prep one night usually over a few beers and spray the next day the reason I don't prep and spray the same day is to remove any temptation to cut corners I'm out there for a few hours with the da and a scotchbrite I'm not going to gain anything by not running that scotchbrite more and more until im sure I got it all a quick wipe down with some solvent and it's good to go

After spraying that product I'll never go back to roll on. It's the exact same quality job you get from some professionals (linex is sprayed heated out of a specialized machine hence their unique texture) but some of the other liners? The same process and results

I got a herculiner kit from menards for $40. It was a no Brainer for me. rhinoliner is better but for 10x the price I'm happy with it. Just my 02¢ prep sucks though get plenty of scotch brite pads before u start.
