This post is for those of us "older" members who remember when a Dodge truck was a Dodge truck if you get what I mean. I bought these Dodge emblems off of Ebay and I like how they look. You younger members seem to like to debadge everything which generally looks really good but I kinda like this look too. Don't be too hard on me.......................

I've owned two Dodge trucks, '99 cummins before I bought the Ram.

I actually like that it's just ram now. Sounds tougher and less contradicting having dodge and ram in the same name haha. Ever since I was young I've always wanted a ram after seeing the movie twister. Now that I have one it doesn't bother me that it's no longer a dodge

I like it but I prefer the look of a truck that has been debadged.

Hey, I'm very close to your age and I like the clean de-badged look as you can see from my RAM Truck. :favorites13:

mpress2570 noticed you have a night edition ram, have any pics posted on here? I've had mine for a while, its a 2012 but love those night editions, especially the white ones.

Rzrman328, now, I have to admit, YOU have a nice looking truck! I can see why debadging adds a really clean look to our Ram's. I may have to rethink my old school thinking! At least now from what you all have posted we don't have to worry about badges being attached with posts, it's all tape now. You guys have some great looking trucks! I also like how black rims adds something to a silver Ram; I've given some thought to that but can't quite afford it.

i vote for debadging all trucks, it just looks cleaner, but it bothers me with dodge ram losing the dodge because i remember a phone call with my insurance company that went "so we see you have 3 dodge rams and 2 rams" and it just threw me through a loop for a minute, in my head they are and always be a dodge ram and its still a little off to just hear it called a ram

My insurance company couldn't grasp that dodge was taken out of their name haha and my charger is completely debadged I just haven't decided on debaging my truck since it's a night edition and it was extra money for those black badges

Super nice! I just put a T-Rex grille on mine and painted the outside trim of the grille black. Check it out.

Do you plan on modifying your truck or leaving as is, which to me is very nice as is.

Yeah I like that a lot. I like the led bar.

And I'm still on the fence on what to do but I do want to do plenty more. I'm doing an offset rally stripe for sure. I still have yet to decide if I want to keep a sport truck look or go for off road look. I will NOT lift it though. I'm leaning more toward sport truck but we will see. Next thing I'm buying is a catch can though and a CAI to dress up the engine bay a little. Do a moderate exhaust too. Or maybe long tubes and true duals

Sounds cool man. Yeah make sure you have in mind exactly how you want your truck to look. Its not cheap customizing trucks. The last component for the exterior I am waiting on is the brand new Go Rhino sport bar 2.0 that has been pushed back on shipping twice already but hoping it will be here by mid next month. I will post pics of it once I have received and installed it. Keep me posted on your customization.

I am on my first Ram. I owned a 98 Dodge (That I miss to this day) and an 09 Dodge. I loved that the tailgate symbol on the 09 had Dodge integrated and touted that it was the last year this was the case.
I understand some owners debadging but think that too many people do it just to say they did, as if it somehow increased the value of their truck.
All that said, I dont get why Ram decided to put RAM acrossed the tailgate the way they did. If one of those billboard size letters came unglued going down the highway it would surely kill anyone behind it.

those billboard letters and that limited grill are almost as tacky as chrome curb feelers and those ghetto wheels that poke out that you allways see in the hood on an old buick

Stock here. I like my badges, they are staying as everything else. I also love my grill that some of you hate.

Have a 09 here and like knowing it was the last "DODGE" ram. lol

I'm 50/50 on debadging. Sometimes it looks good and sometimes the badges look fine.
