Thinking about ordering a set of LED tail lights from DT Moto. Has anyone tried installing LED tail lights on a 2016 Ram 1500 with out factory LED's. I am concerned with them throwing a code so I just want some feed back from someone who has put them on. Thanks

I have led tails and a led cargo light. They have resisters built in. Plug n play. No codes

I saw a post about them somewhere before. Where are you getting them from?
Just and FYI, I have purchased a few different makes from Amazon and other places and many do not fit the socket.

Just make sure you get the ones that are meant for trucks with factory incandescent bulbs and not the led tails that are meant for those that already have led tails. You shouldn't have any issues then. Put a set on a friend's truck and he hasn't had any issues with them

I have DT MOTO LED tails and 3rd brk lite in my '14. Fit good and no problems.

These are the ones that I am ordering tomorrow. I hear i may have a problem with my 2016 ram. I will give them a shot anyway.

As long as your original tail lights are "not" LED's then you should be good to go IMO
