Does anyone have the extang classic platinum tonneau cover? A buddy that I work with has offered to sell me one that he is no longer using for 100.00.. It is the snap in style leather bed cover.

Just looking for some product reviews..

I have it. I love it. Easy to snap on and easy to roll up. Been about 100mph and it hold up just fine. Ive never had a button come undone by itself.and good price.

My dad used to have one and it was a pain to take on and off because off the shrink and expand
He has a trifecta now and it's so much nicer!

I have the blackmax and I have no issues. I even had buttons rip off (thanks to my brother not paying attention) and they sent me a fixit kit for free.

As far as the expansion/contraction issues, yeah, it sucks in the winter, but with mine there are adjustments I can make to make it looser in the winter. I actually have to switch back now that warmer weather is coming...

I have the Blackmax snap cover and really like it. The fit is great and I like being able to unsnap the front of the cover to get to the bed without having to take all the snaps loose like other covers I looked at.

I'm not sure where you live but if you have an extended winter, do not get a snap style cover...if you do and take it off, you will have to heat it up to get back on or wait until spring...it's for that reason I went with a Bakflip G2 and I love it!

I live in Oklahoma, so our weather changes about like I change underwear. I figure for 100 bucks, there really isnt a way it wouldnt be a good deal.

It looks like a good deal even if you only use it for the warmer months. With the Extang snap covers, the snaps flip over and the bows have two settings. So when the cold weather gets here and the cover shrinks a little, you just make the changes.
