Exterior Door Trim Warped

My driver door trim that goes at the bottom of the window is warped. How hard is it to replace, and where do I being to search for that part?

quirkparts.com is a great place to get it and has exploded views of the door to ensure you get the right part. Even if you don't buy it there, you can get an idea of what to look for.

May be able to find it a little cheaper, but that link should be the right part number. Should be very easy to replace. Just put the window down and pop it up and out from the inside of the door.

I had my drivers side rear door trim piece replaced when I was having some paint work. The last owner put a lot of scratches in it like they were sliding wood into the back seat with an open window.

Sorry I can't help with the part # or how to replace it, just that I know it can be done, and the part was around $50, even from the dealer (the body shop ordered it).

Looking at the diagram again and from JPT's cost recollection, I think it's #1. I think #3 is that nasty (IMO) chrome molding they put on the lower portion of the doors on some trims.

Had mine replaced under warranty on all four doors. I saw a Ram with chrome ones that looked really good - anyone have a part number for that?

I’ve had that on my pass side front door for about 2 years. Same thing. Do they warranty it?

Mine 2013 did that too, I ended up just putting a dab of glue under it, all good now.

We had all 4 replaced when we purchased our 13 used. Ill try to find the invoice. Its been just about a year and the replaced ones are beginning to warp as well. Ive read that you can take them off and use a heat gun to flatten them out. I wonder if there is enough room on the back side to epoxy/silicone a small rod the length of the weatherstrip to keep them straight.

My 14 is doing the same thing. Really want to replace them with the factory chrome ones on the limited model.
