Are exterior parts different for 09-12 vs 13-current

I don't see a difference but I'm wondering because when you search up for exterior parts it says 09-12 not 09-current or 09-16. Apart from the obvious changes in 2016/17. Example the Mopar body kit says 09-12 but would it fit a 16?

Some parts are different, there was a redesign for 13+ plus years for example the grill, fogs etc...

Some parts can be interchangeable tho like headlights tail lights wheels and other parts.
Just depending what you are looking for.
Websites will make you choose on the years 09-12 or 13+ but even tho they might say it won't fit some will.

I'm looking at body parts like a sport front swap and the Mopar body kit to fit on a 2015 but it says 09-12

The front bumper will be different you have to purchase the 13+ for your truck.
I'm sure there is parts you just have to find the correct ones for your year
