Saw this over on another forum and thought I'd share it here. I upgradded the rear sway bar on my 2014 Sport R/T from the stock 16mm on the R/T to the 22mm OEM rear sway bar used on the QC/CC 4x4. The 22mm sway bar part number is 68061789AA and list for $93.25, but can be found online for about $69. I bought mine from quickparts for $65.28 plus shipping. The bushings came from Amazon, Moog part # K3168 for $9.99 for a set of 2. The upgrade made a difference in handling and the price can't be beat, especially when compared to a Hellwig bar of the same size. I feel like I now have a truck that can live up to the "R/T" badge :)

I'll just throw this out there, having upgraded my 4wd's sway bar to the Hellwig it was a substantial upgrade from the oem bar, so if you're not on a tight budget, you're still getting a better improvement with the Hellwig bar over the oem 4wd sway bar.

I was just about to post the same thing. The Hellwig bar is also adjustable, so you have 3 settings from soft to firm to help dial in the handling performance and ride comfort you are after. This looks like a great cheap upgrade though.

So on a '14 crew cab 4x4 the Hellwig bars are still a noticeable upgrade?? Not sure do they have both front and rear bars for this application over the stock??

There is only a rear sway bar upgrade, nobody's made a front upgrade for the 4wd. That said, the front doesn't get nearly the same undersized bar compared to the rear, in fact the front bar is ~1.125" IIRC and is very beefy compared to the 2wd bar.

How big of an upgrade on this sway bar..especially for a 4x4? Also, is it simple to remove and install?

Even on a 4x4, it will reduce body roll and help with on road performance. Sway bars can hurt off road performance though, depending on the situation.

A jack and hand tools is all that's required for this swap, and it's definitely worth it to reduce body roll in the corners, especially if yours didn't come with one from the factory. If you need flex for off-road it's not something you want.

Mine is basically a street queen, but once in a while, I like to play in mud or snow. Nothing major. I am planning on a minor body lift and 35" tires.
