Final debadgeing piece

I was happy to remove all my emblems from the truck. The new grill took care of the front, but the back had those locating pins. Found this emblem on ebay for 50 and it comes in a few different styles.

its just a billet aluminum shaped badge with 3 lines milled into it Dodge went a little emblem happy on the back and I wanted to clean it up. This was the simplest one I could find that I liked. They did have a flat face but I thought this one had a nice touch with the lines

I'm with ya on the badge happy... If I had the money and knew the right shop, I'd get it shaved. I'm totally NOT a fan of the large by huge Ram's head.

(Funny, I think if they stamped DODGE across the tailgate it'd be cool / retro)

Here is a picture of mine, just for ideas. I taped it off and sprayed it with DupliColor Shadowing paint.... It comes with a base and clear coat. most auto parts stores have it.

It blacks it out but yet keeps its shine(Black Chrome) and depends on how many coats of the darkening paint you use you can make it any shade you want!!!

Also did the exhaust tips
