Well I got my first, technically and second, mod done today. Changed out the black Express handles for color matched ones. Was going smooth thanks to the DIY on here until I dropped the last screw on the last door. That was not a happy time! Added a stubby antenna also. Off and running.

Side note: I'm thinking of just removing the mirror caps and having them painted instead of buying painted replacement mirrors. Thoughts? Figure it'll be cheaper and easier.

Looking good. Got to love painted handles. How is the stubby antenna reception?

I painted my mirrors. Not hard at all and cost about $20.

Hey did you paint the handles or did you replace them with factory white handles? I want to do this myself but do not know how to remove them.

Are you sure that you want the mirrors painted, as I am a little biased lol.

Me and paint don't mix. I've tried my hand on multiple occasions and have done a less than good job on any of them.

I got the factory white handles. Check the diy section and there is a how to on there. Biggest pain is just accessing the screws and not dropping them. I didn't drill any access holes. I just used the window in the inner door panel. My arm will be bruised and cut up for a week but it's worth it.

Ha, looks good. I don't think I want the whole things painted. Just the cap.

I don't blame you there, I had to have the whole thing painted as at the time I was rocking gloss black wheels and needed something to break up that " dark " look from the side.
