I want brighter fog lights in my 2015 ram 1500
what bulbs are you all running

My oem fogs were bright, but I wanted a different look so I went with a set of RetroShop projectors and absolutely have no regrets.

i want to keep my fog lights
just want to replace bulbs
not sure what bulbs to get

not sure i think they are H10 bulbs
I was curious as to what brand of bulbs people upgraded to

Try diode dynamics XM2L led bulbs. They are definitely brighter than stock and more of a white light vs yellowish

Sylvania SilverStar zXe 9006 (engineered to rival HIDs as best as a traditional bulb can). Notice the very white beam pattern on the pavement from the fogs....



Keep in mind that any performance bulb - especially a coated one - is going to have a reduced life over a stock, un-coated bulb. Most folks don't take that into consideration when choosing whether to go with a substantially brighter bulb over a longer-lasting one. It is the coating that "cools" the color of the light to make it more white than a traditional un-coated bulb.

Good options for a brighter bulb that aren't as performance-based as the zXe line would be the SilverStar or SilverStar Ultra lines. Both offer bright white light but the Ultra has better down-road visibility. Read about them here:

I've had a set of Opt7 LEDs in practically since new. Bright as all heck! Make sure you use the included capacitor.

I know from experience the vertical fog lights have diff bulbs then the horizontal fog lights...i went with PIAA bulbs..bright enough I drove home at dusk till night time with only fogs on and didnt notice.
