So I was involved in a front end collision. I am out of state until this weekend before I can get it over to a shop for a quote. I was not at fault, but I was just wanting some input before a shop looked at it. Obviously what I see that needs to be done.

Bumper
Behind bumper pieces
Wheel Wells
Grille
Passenger headlight
Hood/fender shifted

Now this is where I need some experts. I got my truck aligned the day before the accident. Tight, and straight steering. Now the steering is off center looks like ( / ) now. It has weak / loose feeling steering. There was no impact to the the underneath of the truck but the impact obviously did something.

Should a frame check and suspension be checked? Impact was about 20-25 when I finally slowed down enough. I didn't feel any wobble in the tire so it may not have flat spots but probably need them checked anyways. Anyone else been involved in something similar that may have some input? Thanks

Best thing you can do is repair it with all oem parts . Nothing is better than factory parts . My insurance wanted to use aftermarket and used parts , fixing it my self allowed me to use all oem to make sure it all lines up right .

Shop quotes where 3600 for basic parts to 5000 for oem . All depending on the parts they used . I replaced ...
Fender
Grille
Headlights
Right side rad support
All bumper parts to swap from a 1 peice bumper to a 2
Wheel liner

Sounds about right. My hood needs painted, it has a gouge from the accident. Steering needs to be checked and fixed. Unfortunately the truck is only worth about 13K and has a rear in collision on it and now a front end collision. Both not at fault. I DOUBT they'll total the truck. But I hope so, it has about 94,000 miles now.

i just finished putting one back together , hit dead center , i bought almost everything from ebay
it was about 20 to 30 % cheaper buying from ebay than shop price at my local dealer
simple example fan shroud $130 + list price shop price about $100
ebay $79 with free shipping
