Has anyone on this forum tried to remove the fuel filler door on a 2014 1500???
There are 2 torque screws easily accessible and 2 others that are are screwed in from the back and seem impossible to get at.
Any help would be appreciated.

The door is just held on by the two you can get through to the front. I think the one's you are referring to in the "back" are for the filler neck. At least that's how it was for mine

I don't think the filler door construction has changed over the past few years so if I am correct there are but two torx screws which are easily accessed via the front of the hinge. Very easy.

My brother's 2012 just uses the 2 torx screws, I checked to make sure :) mine is a 2014 and uses 2 more screws that cannot be accessed from the front.

Well that's bull! Damned Ram lol. Sorry, man I don't know why they'd do that. I guess it's an anti-theft design but not sure how desirable gas caps are.

Installing Chrome Fuel Door 2014

Yes, I've done it. I got one for Christmas and couldn't figure the install out. I saw your post with same issues. I hope it's not too late for you. I posted the Instructions on YouTube. Just search for "Installing the 82211393 OEM Chrome Fuel Filler Door RAM 1500 2014" It is a clean install without hacking your truck. It's just a video of a piece of the steps that I did to install it. Any questions let me know. PS, It looks awesome when installed.

Has anyone on this forum tried to remove the fuel filler door on a 2014 1500???

I swapped in a locking black Bully has door on my 13 but can't remember. I plan to put it on my 14 I will look at it tomorrow. I am sure once I look at it I will remember what I did. I remember it took a little time to get at a couple of them.
