Anyone know of any good replacements for the gas door, doesn't necessarily have to lock just want to put an aftermarket one on for a nice quick mod. Also how does the stock one come off?

I've been wondering the exact same thing. Kinda tired already of my stock door that matches the truck color.

I replaced mine with an AMI billet locking gas door (black). RBP makes them as well

I had an rbp one on my old 1996 cummins, it was pretty straightforward on that one, only two bolts if i remember correctly, not sure about the newer ones though

I have an aluminum one that looks like its from autozone haha. It works good though and doesn't feel "cheap".

I got the bully one, but it's not a year old and already faded. Taking the old one off is easy, just two star bolts once you open the fuel door. New one is easy to install as well, but I opted for the locking one.

I just checked RBP's website and they don't seem to have any listed for Rams. Damn. I like they're style so I was hoping they'd have a few.

I have an aunt who works for jcwhitney so she might also have some insight knowledge if they have them available for the 2013 that isn't on the website.

I didn't buy mine for looks, I just like having the locking door. In my opinion much better then a locking cap. My gas tank is off limits to any scrub wanting in. My friend also has a Dodge, and when he moved into his brand new house two scumbags lit a rag and put it in the gas tank. Luckily his truck didn't catch fire, he got locking gas doors for three cars the next day.

I don't remember the brand, but I remember it was an easy install. The gas door is easy to remove too.

Rough neighborhood. Makes me consider a locking door evening more since at times I have to park in some very shady neighborhoods.

Damn that's awful. I can't believe that there are people out there who would do that. At first I only wanted an aftermarket gas door for looks but now I'm thinking it might keep my truck from being blown up haha.

Haha thanks i came up with that earlier because of a song i heard on the radio, i understand the need for a locking gas door, i live in a pretty rough part of columbus, it sounded like a warzone last new years eve, i just drilled a hole in my stock gas door and rigged up a generic lock from a toolbox from the local hardware store, but mine is a $2k beater

I hear you about the rough neighborhood, a person a few doors down in our town houses is a big time dope dealer so I put all the stops to possible thefts, blowing ups, etc. Working on an exterior night vision cam system eventually.
