I had my oil changed today for the first time in my 2016 ram 2500. The shop that I go to, who I trust, told me there was no grease fitting on the fromt ujoint for the four-wheel-drive and on the ball joints the grease tube was there but there was no nut on the end of the tube for the grease gun too attach to. Anybody else have this happen to them? My shop has done other ram 2500 each and he knows what to look for, he even remembered to fill the oil filter full of oil so it would not mess up the turbos on my diesel.

They looked for it and could not find it. As I mentioned he services other 2500's.

It's an inny type grease zerk. Needs a needle to grease. Several good videos on YouTube.

I spent 10 minutes spinning the front ujoint looking for the fitting and finally gave up. After getting out from under the truck it occurred to look at the rear ujoint. There it was! There's a little groove that leads right to the 'inny' grease fitting.

Anyone found a way to clean that little hole out to grease the drive shaft, and exactly what does it grease?
