So I haven't seen any postings on this, and I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but I like the newer Laramie RAM grills, and I'm wondering if anyone has done this swap before? I've got a 2010 and they are the same shape.. Here's some pics of what I'm talking about

Im pretty sure that the grill you have pictured isn't for a 1500, and is probably too big.

I was told that the mounting points are different. but if you do, do it. Put me 1st in line for your old grille

Ya I know it's not a 1500, just curious I figured it would be too big just throwing the idea out there, I think I'm going to take some dimensions of my grill and go on a hunt for a new diesel and do the same thing

I would get the 2500 grille and hood (or aftermarket 2500 hood) and then an aftermarket bumper (just cause I don't like the 2500 bumpers)

Agreed on the color matching. I thought these grills were hideous until I saw people color matching them and on the right truck think they look pretty clean.

I've only seen them either black or white so seeing one color matched blue would be even cooler.

I'm gonna go on a recon mission today down to the dealer to try and get some rough measurements and hope I don't get approached by a salesman

Thanks for the pic, even if it does fit, after briefly looking these things come with a pretty big price tag

What if you got a 13-16 1500 bumper? Then that 1500 grille should fit. Better than fitting a whole 2500 front setup, don't you think??
