I have zero chrome on my truck and I love it. I swapped out my chrome runners for the matte black runners last week and it looks great.

Grill looks awesome painted black. I thought about having mine painted but instead bought a sport grill and had it painted black. Might have my original grill painted black after seeing yours.

Nice! These trucks do come with a lot of it.
When I bought my 2500, I knew I was getting new wheels and tires, I wanted to paint the grill and bumpers, I wanted a simple truck I could take wheeling.
So a tradesman sparked my interest as it came with no chrome.
Like you, 2 days later I was taking my grill and bumpers off. I have the ability to paint, so I did everything myself.
Good choice with the chrome delete on yours - truck looks great!
My wife came home with the truck in the street away from the garage for paint/clear overspray - and saw a 2 day old truck looking like this....
She said what the hell..... No... haha what are yo doing now?!??!

Itsme71190 truck looks good, totally different look. Do you mind me asking how much that ran you? I want to do the same but keep kicking around wrapping the bumpers because alot of people say the paint doesn't stick well to chrome.

It's all in the prep, I have had a ton of chrome painted with no issues.

So front and rear bumper plus grill for $500.00, that is a great deal right there.

That is a good price. I thought it would be more for sure. If I get a quote close to that I will do it for sure. It cost more than that just to try and swap the front bumper alone to the plastic paintable one.

Only thing left are the brezzles of taillights, (Plan on swapping all lights out) and the interior chrome.... tired if getting blinded whenever tge sun hits it

on the chrome ring around the center console, the radio and the vents I vinyl wrapped mine.

Prep is key with the chrome. But these days, the dipped chrome can chip and start to peel. I'm sure we've all seen a grill all bubbled up.. that happens when it's painted and it's over.
Grill and bumpers painted for $500 is an outstanding price.
It cost me almost $200 just to do it myself.
