I took off that plastic chrome one and ordered an all black one. Just wondering how the black looks on a white truck with black accents.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'm undecided on it myself. Haven't really seen much about it being done either.

The flex fuel ones probably first before I strip any. I've seen a lot of members even strip the ones on doors even that I find hard loosing. Although I like on some not being there.

I'll be honest. I don't get the hype of blacking out everything. To me it's either color matched or a small amount of chrome

Yeah the chrome look just isnt as nice as it once was. Even on wheels, you see more blacked out wheels than chrome. I like the blacked out accents and wheels, gives it a much more aggressive look and really that is what looks best on a truck. Just dont try to bring back the spinners. Terrible idea.

Altough my truck is red, I plasti-dipped all emblems on my rig. My thing is, if you're going to detail and remove chrome, either remove it all or don't remove any of it. I've paid close attention to detail, as you well know, and have been complimented many times for it.

I took all my emblems off including the 4x4 but ended up putting the 4x4 back on. I spent the extra money and I want people to know that I am better than them.
Same thing with Iphones, It ****** me off because I have a 6s so how are people with a Iphone 6 suppose to know that I am better than them.

I was thinking about getting a "2X4" badge made up..cause it's 2 wheel drive and will mostly be carrying 2X4 lumber. Love the chrome..hate the black wheels

It's down 4.5"/6.5", lowered for better handling at speed.
