My dilema is this.....I had a 2010 dodge with dual headlights. For xmas I got some smoke lens dual headlights. Well I traded the 2010 on a 2011 with quads. Only thing is they will only let me exchange the duals for the quads at the place we got them from. But, the quads do not have a smoke lens, they have the black housing with clear lens. I like the smoke look and if I go with Lamin-x I'll get the lightest tint they offer.

I dont know how good the black housing quads will look with chrome grill, bumper, etc on a deep water blue pearl truck. I plan to VHT my tails and third brake light. and Im going with machined and black rims so it might equal out

what do yall think?
Option
1) trade duals to Get the black housing quads with clear lens? http://www.google.com/url?sa=i&rct=...I5FkdA_OaPIVvCKIOjSeru6g&ust=1362764306096616

2) get lamin-x for heads and send the duals back and trade them in on tow mirrors which cost extra about 200 bucks extra?

Any opinion would be greatly appreciated.

It's not letting me access the link but I think just the black housings would look badass. I have the recon quads on my truck and love the look and having chrome wouldn't affect it really IMO

thanks guys this company is called K2 Motor or motoring. They've been pretty decent to work with and are being understanding since I've had these headlights three months. I never installed them, but that smoked lens looks good. Thanks for all the input.

Keep you posted when I get everything done; when tax money comes in im going big by doing everything at once.

List of mods I'll have:
Stampede Products pockets style flares
1.25" bodylift
Bilsteins up front or level(havent fully decided)
20 x 10 xd diesel machined wheels
35 x 12.50 Toyo's or Durun's (havent decided)
Black housing headlights and VHT Tails and 3rd

I'd go with the black housing and clear lenses, too. I had smoked lenses on my 3rd gen and the light output was horrible. What's your plans for the OEM quads you have on there now?

Yeah, I may be. If you decide to sell them let me know. I can't afford the down time to have mine out of my truck long enough to send them to JJ.

I gotta get the funds, too. I was going to get the HIDs for now, but decided on a catch can and Trinity. We have a baby coming soon, so my mods will be put on hold for a bit now probably.

Sorry...didn't mean to jack the thread.
