Headlight Led lighting

I want to change over to led lighting and replace my hid system. What has everyone used? Any pictures of them installed? I want it all to fit in the housing. My dust caps are already drilled for hids so the wire going out doesn't matter. I looked at opt7 and wanted to know how these will hold up if anyone uses them. Thanks!

I've seen many a pot about this same topic, general consensus seems to be OPT7 is the brand most go with. I went with a different brand but only because the shop that I work at as my 2nd jobs sells them.

Im doing this next wk had nothing but issues with hid......

hid's keep messing so no more 2sets in less than 3yrs.

swapping to these next wk led 9012 conversion bulbs 6000k.
Will throw up pics once done.

Good luck...

We had a few LEDs here.....they where all horrid inside the factory projectors.

i still have that set i got from you a while back when LEDs were still coming up, and they are still in the box lol

yeah i have caught myself not even thinking about HIDs, i am wanting LEDs all over now, they need to hurry up and release them!

In due time.......

Gotta get some other goodies rolling, then testing, etc. I'm sure once they get them ready, I'll roll "test mule" back out there for some testing :crazy:

well good thing is OEM projectors arent terrible with Halogens so it wont kill me, i never upgraded my oem projectors on my 14 so im sure it wont be any different on my 13, ill be patient...

get a test set and send them to me, ill use my truck to see how they work :naughty:

If you're doing LEDs in projectors I wouldn't do it. LEDs don't fill the whole projector housing like the HIDs do. HID bulbs give of 360 degrees of light where as LEDs only shoot light either up and down or left and right. I had LEDs in my projectors for a little bit and they were no where near as good as HIDs. Now I run LEDs in my fogs and those are great!

Anyone try the www.headlightrevolution.com supernova v2 led bulbs for heads and fogs? Tryin to decide on these kits or the opt7 kits.........

Hey guys, i have a 2012 Ram and have had a lot issues my Retro HID so i am switching to LED as well. I need some advice on what bulb type to get? My ram is a 2012 1500 however i have the Retro TYC projector lights so not sure what type LED bulb to get. Please advise, thanks.

9012 but not companies have em listed, 9006 fits just the same
