Looking for some nice new headlight suggestions, wanting one with a black housing in particular, I'm pretty sure HID's are in my truck as of right now, haven't taken the time to actually go and check though.

I've had a lot of luck with a set of project headlights I got on eBay from a company called "VIPMotoZ" they installed great and I have yet to have a single problem with them. Only cost 200 bucks too!

Factory black sport projectors with drop in HIDs from retro shop. Look great and definitely better light output than stock quads

Are those headlights hids/leds and are they bright? How long have they lasted you?

The headlights came with LED projectors already installed. Plug and play install. I'm not sure what kind they are honestly

They are LED projectors, they are pretty bright for eBay headlights. I've had them about 8 months and zero issues with them! [emoji1303]

Thank you! I think I will buy em. Did you replace the bulbs or just leave the ones they had?

I just left the ones it came with, I might replace them in the future but they work great for right now!

I have a really bad feeling about those eBay headlights. I was considering these but the reviews are horrendous

http://www.ebay.com/urw/product-reviews/1242611222?_itm=191124089545&_frm=mweb&_version=1

Same company and same bulbs. I occasionally see a couple people on this forum say the opposite of the reviews but I see a ton of people reporting poorly on them. I guess for a couple hundred dollars you could swallow it if they don't work out. Apparently they have a satisfaction or your money back

I originally wanted blacked out projector housings, but ended up going with OPT7 LEDs in stock quad housings, Light output is not like projectors, but I like it. Way better than stock. I have purchased a set of blacked out quad housings and I will just swap the black housings in for the summer only. Now I'm trying to figure out how to do the fogs to match it all.

Use laminax tint on the OEM housing. 20 bucks. Throw in a set of led fog bulbs. Just a thought [emoji106]
