Got my Hellwig sway bar today and got it installed, must say its a nice peice. Wont drive it to see what the difference feels like tomorrow.
You can see its large and is heavier for sure.

Do you tow? Wondering if this helps much over stock for towing.

I tow I have a 28' trailer so thats the main reason I did it.
Everyone says that it helps.

I got it off ebay, it was a opened box and they had it on sale for $175.
Just could not pass it up.

Ha, going to winterize my camper this weekend so that ones out..
Thats the bad part might be awhile before I have any real load behind it.

Another note, has anyone installed a Hellwig on the front ?

Here Hellwig owner claims Ram 1500 4WD front sway bars are beefy and so they didn’t bother. Only 2WD have fronts as an option. But he also said Ford needed a lot of help up front, even for 4WD, lol.

They help for sure but I think on middle setting they do increase sensitivity to bumps.

I installed Hellwig on both front and back, and they make a significant improvement in handling when towing (18 foot popup trailer). Also have the rear set in the middle hole and yes, a bit stiffer so I do feel a little more of the road.

Other than that, man does it feel planted when cornering.

I could tell the difference just driving into work this morning truck feels alot more "planted" thats for sure.
It feels like a truck now with everything I have done to it and no longer like a car or suv.
Now just need to get some real tires on it.

even if you dont tow this sway bar is worth it imo.

Real glad I spent the money even more now that I have the 35s on there.

Check Autoanything.com. When on sale for 20% off I got it shipped for 190. Still yet to tow with it but yes, huge improvement. Combo with airride 1000's And timberland bump stops should work out good. I hope!
