Ok, so here is the setup I'm looking at:
HBS 2.0 level kit (already purchased) then looking to upgrade to 275/65R20 tires (Thinking about Cooper Discovere A/T3's) on the stock 20 Sport 4x4 wheels.

I want to know if I will have any issues with the following:
  • Rubbing?
  • TPMS Sensors?
  • Spacers needed?

I'm a newb on this stuff and would appreciate any extra information you guys could give me.

Thanks in advance....appreciate it!:Rock on:

Im no expert, but i just did that size on my stock 20's. Did the Duratrac, if you have not looked at those tires, make sure you do.

I have a 2.5" daystar, and have no rubbing issues at all, plenty of room.. and no spacers needed.

They tried to tell me that i needed to have the tpms sensors recalibrated, but i told them not to, and they work fine. I honestly think that only needs to be done if you get new rims. I can post a pic if you'd like to see what it looks like.. Honestly i think that size tire is PERFECT for a leveled 1500.

There should be absolutely no reason to recalibrate a pressure sensor (TPMS) because of a change in tire size. That's f'n stupid.

Best I understand, the truck re-learns location (mine didn't get angry when I rotated my tires) on its own. It's still reading pressure.

I think 275/65R20s will fit on a stock 2wd with no life (someday I'll let ya know!)
With a leveled truck you should be fine, and styling!

I'm thinking that too...I have looked at the DuraTracs and have been leaning towards Cooper but haven't made up my mind yet. Could you post pics up?

I don't think it was tire size as much as it was 10 ply vs 4 ply.

I just put a set of LT275/65R20 DuraTracs on my truck. Mine's only a 3rd gen but I love them so far. I was shocked at how quiet they are. No real difference between them and my old Zeon LTZ's as far as noise. I will say that them being a 10ply made a big difference in how thick the sidewalls are and that in turn makes the tire slightly wider along the sidewalls.

Nice looking truck I wish my Laramie was all one color instead of that damn silver/tan bottom. Tires look good on there too, have you had a chance to try them out in snow?
