OK, I have a 2014 ram 1500 sport, will be leveled with bilstein 5100. wheels are 20x9 0 offset Lonestar outlaw. trying to decide what size tires to go with. thinking of either toyo rt or nitto Ridge grappler. if it's the r/t, it will be either a 33x12.5x20, 305/55/20 or 35X12.50R20 . if it's the Ridge grappler, it will be the same but also 35X11.50R20. if anyone have any other size or tire recommendation let me know. I'm ready to buy

thanks

This is gonna be an answer that might just keep going because it's more on preference. You're gonna pay for the name Toyo and get equal performance with the Nitto, if I get can 55K out of a set of Nitto Trail Grappler's then I'm sold. I get the same answer when I ask guys at my local off road shop why they're running Toyo's and they all say cause that's what everyone else is running:crazy: It's really up to you and how much you wanna spend, what you're looking to do, I'll stand with Nitto since I've owned 3 sets. You might look at the Mickey Thompson STZ, I got those as soon as they came out and they were a good tire as well. Not trying to do a Toyo bash, but there are so many options out there now that Toyo no longer holds the lead for the best tire, at one time they did, but times have changed.

I think 35s are too big when it's just leveled. Kind of that stuffed look. I'd go with the 305/55s or 33s.

Currently running 295/60 Nittos on fuel 20x9 0 offset. I'm dropping down to a 33 when these tires go.

Part of what so for me has to do with what motor and trans and what gears you have, if a higher gear go with the 33s other wise might as well go 35s.
as for brand its mostly a matter of opinions everyone has one but only yours matter so buy the ones that appeal to you the most.

A bit OT but what are you running suspension-wise? I don't see many other regular cabs and yours is setup pretty much how I want mine.

My tire guy always recommend Toyo's, 33's or 34's will be fine. What is the cost difference?

Because I'm bored lol, I looked at his posts and found one where he said he has pro comp level shock and pretty sure they are a 2.75" level

Pro comp struts set at 2.5". Nothing on the rear. Cost $220. Super cheap and easy to install.

I wish I could remember the users name that this truck belongs too ( maybe someone else knows ), I found it on google images while looking up 35's on leveled Rams and forget if it's this site or the other he is from. Either way, his is kind of what I am shooting for. His is leveled on stock wheels with 35's and no spacers, said there is 0 rubbing as well. Right now I am running 275/60r20 Coopers and looking towards Toyo open country MT's 35's. Just thought I'd toss up for comparison, I think it look great and not TOO stuffed looking.
