Should I go with Retro Shop Morimoto or Retrofit Source Morimoto kit?

Retrofit source has the Morimoto bulbs and Retro Shop has the 3Five bulbs.

Which kit is better?

I concur.

Ditto lol. With one additional, use Retroshop. Jeremy is a vendor on here and will make sure you are taken care of.

The customer support Jeremy will give you compared to the pennies you may save elsewhere is a no brainer. Trust me. He has helped me out lore times than I can count.

Agree with all of the above.... I tried to save some cash and went with a cheaper kit ... had issues, went to The Retro Shop, solved all the issues, and not a issue since.

I'm pretty sure the bulbs are different. They look different from the pictures and Retrofit source Morimoto bulbs have 'XB' on the bulb.

Either way the two kits are the same price and everything else is the same but I am pretty sure the bulbs are different because even the K rating is different.

Good choice. You'll be happy you did in the off chance you have any issues . You can always get him on the phone to answer any questions.

You will be glad you did. It's no fun driving to a bass tournament at 4:30am on the express way, in a blacked out truck...having the headlights go out on ya.

haha, love my wiener.....dog.....lol

And yeah - we sell Morimoto parts. The bulbs are the new XB bulbs too, site just needs to be updated - as time permits!

And.......the real fun part......I love the guys at TRS, but......I know these Rams better than anyone else. We helped develop the HID kits for them with TRS years ago....and have sold thousands in the 6+ years we've been in business.

I will also agree with Retro Source for your HID lighting. I put their 35 watt 6000K kit in my Rebel and I will say they are great. In fact, when I have the high beams on, they light up the road as bright as the 100 watt KC daylighters I had on my 07 ram. Here is a comparison with one HID and one stock bulb with the high beams on the door, and low beam in the straight on photo. Plus the color matches the led fog lights perfect. But best of all, their customer service is the best I have ever worked with.

Just installed my 5000k kit from retroshop in my 14' stock projectors. Looks awesome and seem to work with no problems.
