I installed the Retro Shops adapter and installed the OEM projector headlights a few months back. Last week I got a message on the truck that I had a bright out. Sure enough it was my driver's side. I didn't look into it as I figured it burned out and I was going to be installing HID's in the near future.

Well last night I installed the HID's in the lows and got to look at the bright and realized the bulb was not the problem. Didn't have time to make sure it was getting power, but has anyone else experienced this issue?

I noticed when doing my fog lights before I installed the canbus adapters the light would flicker on the driver's side and then the truck would cut power to the light. I am assuming it is doing something similar with the bright??

Try a different ballast on that bulb, I've found most issues are ballast related

Sorry if I didn't explain well. The brights are factory and not HID.
