2010 1500 bighorn 4x4 just trying to get some ideas on how I can tell if it's going out or not. Put new rims and tires on and now it has a terrible shim in the front end. Yes tires are not balanced I know that will be some of the issue but I've always ran my tires that were 33" or bigger without balancing and have never had it shim as bad as it does. And it's not all the time. Going around curves it goes away to the right. If I go around a curve to the left. Gets worse. Any ideas on where to start? I've lifted the front end everything seems tight no slop in outer tie rods but I feel some in the wheel as it shins. You can almost hear it knocking. 0e313014380edda3a6311046b09a6636.jpg

you should start by getting the tires balanced and having the alignment checked.

No need to balance the tires. They will never get them perfectly balanced. So that's is not the issue. Rides the exact same way with my stock set of rims and tires.

Hah thanks man. Yeah I'm kinda stumped. The fact that it has this shim even with stock tires that are perfect. Just boggles my mind. Alignment shop even said the whole front end is tight. So im not sure what to do or where to start.

They will balance the same as any tire, they just don't stay balanced as long. You want a permanent balance you use balance beads.
