Installed 5" Tips and Badge

Got my Moe's 5" tips installed a couple weeks ago. Love the look and the deeper sound. Also just got my custom sport badge on from Nathan at Rebadge. Did an awesome job. Made it look pretty damn close to the sport logo from the start up screen.

Yea, about 20-30 minutes but that was mostly getting the old clamps off. Bought new clamps with em so I didn't have to use the old clamps.

Mine were a PITA, could not get them lined up right. Gave up and had them welded on.

I have 14 inch magnaflow on red sport. So you r telling me those tips add volume cause I want a bit louder but got magnaflow because I love the tone . Its sound more tuned than flowmaster which is louder but sounds like noise to me not performance like a magnaflow. Are those the moes clamp on tips?

I think they make it a little louder but mainly a more deeper tone. Kind of the megaphone effect. Magnaflow is definitely the best sounding muffler I've had.

I added Moe's five inch tips to my system with a Solo Performance muffler. I had stock tips on my truck with that muffler originally. When I installed the Moe's tips the first thing I noticed was the deeper sound at both idle and accelerating. :happy107:

Folks on here didn't believe me when I told them the tips can make even the stock exhaust sound better, but I heard it on my neighbor's RAM, even before I bought my tips.

When you get around to it I recommend the Mufflex bolt on replacement for the OEM (boat anchor) muffler. I think my truck might be faster just from shedding that weight!
And the sound of that free flowing muffler with the deeper resonance of the 5" tips almost reminds me of side pipes. :roflsquared:
