Seems to be a lot of love for opt7

I want to replace my factory bulbs and put in led's starting with the fog lights

I have seen threads with problems with bulbs getting installed and not fitting and dash lights coming on.

What is a true plug n' play bulb for a 2017 Laramie?

Is this the right bulb or do you guys have better suggestions?

I put in go performance led lows and highs a couple weeks ago and I am absolutely blown away by the performance. For both with taxes in I paid 320. But I'm canadian so if ur American might be cheaper

I've got both fogs and low beam opt7 led and love them, but I'm going to go to projector head lights and these won't fit because they have the fan.

With the Opt7 is it a clean install for the fog lights or do the fans get in the way making it a deal breaker for me?

Yep. That's my question. I'm looking for a true plug n' play

I've had zero issues, was true plug and play but my truck is a 2014, I've been hearing that they changed something with the 2015 and newer trucks so the canbus is more finicky? But as for connectors it was a true plug and play not cutting wires or splicing

I put diode dynamics xml2 leds in my fogs. For 2015 and up rams you need can bus adapters(error and flicker cancelers) but they are just inline so yes they are Plug and play

I installed them in the fogs of my 2015 with no issues- plug n play for me. Love them and they've been working flawlessly for more than a year now.

I had to use their 'adapter' to fix my LEDS that I purchased somewhere else on a 2015. Worked great and as you stated, it's inline on the connector.

There is a guy on YouTube who installed the opt7 fluxbeams into his 2016 laramie projectors and says the dust cover fits back on but it's really tight. I don't know who to believe because some say they don't fit some say they do. So I'm ordering a set of TYC projectors today or tomorrow and I'm gonna order the opt7 bulbs and see what I can do with them.

Yes they are a direct plug and play. The fog lights do not have any dust covers or anything so the bulbs fan just hangs out into the open air.

The Opt 7 bulbs fit 100% into 09+ Fogs and do not require any special cutting or splicing or adapters. Just use everything that comes in the opt7 kit.

So just to confirm there are no dust covers on the Laramie fog lights (I have a 2013)?
