I just purchased a 2011 Ram 1500 Big Horn, certified from Dodge. It only has 17,000 miles on her with a clean car fax, no accidents. It is pretty obvious when you look down each side of the truck that the tire offset is different. The left side sticks out a good 1/2" more than the right. Maybe more. It is consistent front and back. I checked for wheel spacers and there are none. Any idea why this is? Am I too critical here? Maybe I need therapy, but it is not the same. I feel it should be...................???????????? Do they make different offsets on their wheels? They are stock wheels.

Not sure about different offset stock wheels. This may be a dumb question but are the tire widths the same on both sides?

Front and back, equal too. It's as if the truck is shifted to the left about a 3/4"...........

I'm with bluesmoke, measure rim backspacing see if there is a differance. Maybe the previous owner bent the wheels,or replaced the factory ones who knows.

This is a chassis on frame construction, is it possible it needs to be loosened up and tightened back down? Is that a possibility?

if they are stock wheels there is no way the offset is differnt. i would think the cab and bed are not centered

The offset is a common occurance on ram trucks. I work on these trucks new everyday and have notice the same thing. If you think the truck was wrecked or something, it's doubtful.
