Stock wheel is only 7.5" wide. Most aftermarket wheels will be wider.

one way to a lighter wheel is going to cost but forged is a great start, good luck.

going to a forged wheel will be lighter not only in vehicle weight but will also really lighten your wallet, so its a win win? lol or oculd always do a small brake conversion and run a 16

Agreed. Forged aluminum wheels are lighter and stronger than cast aluminum wheels. But they are also more expensive. American Force, Speciality Forged and Fuel are the most popular now.

Just remember if you're are insisting on a lighter wheel. Make sure you buy a good tire. So many times I have seen people insist on "lighter" wheels and turn around and buy a cheap heavy Chinese tire.

^^^agree on the tire statement 1000000000000%. I put Michelin Pilot Sport Cup yada yada on my GT500, the price per was 550.00 so 2200.00 and change but damn they are great tires.
