Looking for inspiration

Hey all,

I am currently deployed and have been constantly thinking about what I want to do to my truck. Looking for ideas...

I have: 2014 ram 1500 5.7 SLT.
Maroon exterior with chrome bumpers, etc.

What has been do so far:
KN cold air intake
Dual exhaust with flowmaster
4 in BDS suspension lift with fox shocks, 35 in toyo OPEN country AT2 and black 17 in rims.

Bushwacker black pocket style fender flares and xenon headlights are being installed this week.

Thinking I want to add an N-FAB pre runner style bumper with KC lights and black mesh grille. Also want to black out rest of the chrome parts.

Any and all suggestions are welcome, got nothing but time to think about how I want to make this truck look. Thanks for any input!

welcome, and it looks like you have a pretty good plan so far

I suggest removing the black vinyl from between the doors. I've done it to my last 2 Rams and IMO it looks way better without it. The doors are body color under the vinyl. I also remove the Ram 1500 (debadge) from the doors too. Will post before and after pics of mine to give you an idea.

First off thank-you for your service.

Secondly I have seen some awesome examples of trucks with black bed-liner on the lower panels which looks good and is functional. If you go the pre runner route it might tie them and the fender flares in nicely.

If you can find a 3M wrap color close to your paint then that would be the easiest way to de-chrome the door handles etc.

Lastly, I cant really tell from the pic but are your front windows tinted?

I had the dealer remove the black vinyl on the door pillars and"ram 1500" from the doors on my current truck but did it myself on my last truck. There are video tutorials on YouTube that will instruct you how to do it. If you use the search function on this forum you can also find how to's that'll instruct you how to do it easily. IMO it cleans up some of the clutter on these trucks.
