Is there a way to tighten the tow mirrors in a 2011 Crew cab? My mirror is nearly flopping around because where it pivots and can be folded is very loose.

No one has any idea if these are fixable?

There's a thread on the cummins forum that can walk you through it with pictures, but it's not an easy fix.

Don't blame you. I felt the same way. Got lucky and found a used one in good shape for 100 bucks.

my small tow mirror is also floppy... I took a piece of flat foam rubber sliced a little thicker than the distance between glass and outer edge... then wedged it in to hold the mirror in place... the foam I used was from a piece of insulation It is about 4 inches wide and maybe an inch deep shoved into the mirror body.

Good idea, only the place where my mirror is floppy is where it pivots to pull it in towards the window. Right at the joint. The glass is totally fine.
