Lund 5" Nerf bars question
I recently bought Lund 5" nerf bars for my 2015 1500 CC. Does anyone else have these installed without the supporting brackets? These are different than the mounting brackets that connect the frame to the bar. The supporting brackets connect the frame to the mounting bracket. I hate how they look with the gold screws so just curious if anyone else took them off and if the bars were still stable. I haven't found any pictures online with these hooked up and Lund asked me why I had them on. Um hello...the directions said to put them on and they came with the bars!! They are lost. Maybe I will paint the screws or something. Thanks in advance gents. 2nd pic has a better view.
