So I had an idea but I'm nervous about trying it and not liking it and I was wondering if anyone did something similar and could post some photos: My Ram is a 2016 1500 Black Pearlcoat and I was thinking about doing a two-tone matte black (bottom quarter up to the back bumper line), and then possibly doing my fender flares matte black too. Thoughts?

Just spray on some plasti dip and see how you like it first

The thing with matte black on fenders/bumpers etc. is it can make the truck look like a real low spec trade type model.

Plastidip is your friend here. Do one side, that way you can actually look at it both ways at the same time ;)

I had LineX sprayed on the bottom of my 06 2500 a few years ago. Came out really good.

I thought about doing that too, but I heard recently that it fades pretty quick? I was also worried it would catch every bit of dirt and be tough to clean.
