My one off two tone grill badge (no paint)

To continue with the chrome/white sport theme (thanks to a deer hit I now have chrom headlights) I did a new grill badge that from what I can tell no one else has done.

I had the shop do an all white grill badge however it did not look right. I saw a chrome with white background badge and I liked it so I made one with a twist.

I had some engineering grade scotchlite sitting here so I made a reflective white grill badge, I think it looks pretty slick.

(yup, added some to make glowing eyes as well)

This was done by taking the badge apart, wrapping the rear part in the scotchlite and putting it back together.

Nice idea...I do a lot of sign design and never would think of an application like this for reflective material.

Hey if you take that front emblem off if, does it come off in 2 pieces? Like the back piece thats flat and the the front piece thats the Rams head?

Thanks... looks like a have a new project for this weekend. I wonder if the tailgate emblem comes apart like that aswell...

If i get my front done this weekend maybe ill take the back off and see whats going on. If i get around to doing this ill definitely let you know what happens.

I was thinking red background with the front part black or vice versa. Either way it will be a mix of red and black. Same on the front and back emblems.

Came across this after a quick google search. Looks pretty good. Probably going to go with this for both the front and the back.

This is the badge I did on my 09 Sport. Took the emblem apart and used plexiglass with blue LEDs. Had it on a separate switch.
