Ok -- over the past few days, I've noticed a rattle (best way I can describe it).

I can hear it outside my drivers side window and it's noticeable when I go over bumps. It's not loud and I'm sure no one else would notice it, but it's literally giving me a complex!

I thought it could have been a rock that got caught up on the suspension or something -- I checked under the truck for anything loose, but have found nothing. I kicked the nerf bars to see if there was a stone that got into the tube somehow .... no dice. Thought it could be my tow hitch cover -- I removed that and the rattle's still there.

Any ideas as to what it could be? Would appreciate just a running tally of things to check as this is driving me insane.

As far as mods -- I have a six inch Zone lift + billys up front.

I had a misterious "clunk" when going over potholes or speed bumps.
It turned out to be a loose cabin damper bolt.
The nerf bars can squeal/whine when loose

I found a thump type sound on mine on the underside of the truck, drivers side. The ebrake cable runs just under the in floor storage bin and the cable should have a rubber isolator were it comes in contact with the storage bin. Mine had slipped or been moved by a lift or floor jack or who knows what. I put it back and wound some electrical tape around the cable at both ends of the rubber so it wouldnt move again. Haven't heard it since.

Let it all the way down something might be between the tire and exhaust shield
